Norfolk Virginia Real Estate and City Links

I was discussing with my husband this week on the current prices and affordable housing for even those on a minimum wage income (regardless of whether they are childfree or have kids) in the areas of Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach Virginia.  I made a bet with my husband that the cost of living is affordable for minimum wage workers now (in the Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach area) but that the cost of living there is more likely to increase and even surpass the Washington D.C. area (yes even my dream area of Northern Virginia) by around the year 2035 at the earliest and 2050 at the latest. My husband politely disagrees with me and even believes that the areas of Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach Virginia are still going to be lower than the Washington D.C. area come 2050 and even still affordable for minimum wage workers regardless of whether or not they have kids.  We are going to set the target date by December 31, 2035 to see who is correct, yes even if I turn out to be correct January 1, 2036 and owe each other trips based on who is correct. I owe my husband a paid for week long trip to Australia if he is correct and my husband agreed to pay for a week long trip to New Zealand if I'm correct. Regardless of who is correct, my husband and I mutually  intend to ensure that our marriage lasts regardless of whether we would do a long distance marriage for the rest of our current lifetimes.
